* Clean off your Kitchen Refrigerator! When Buyers look inside a sparkling clean refrigerator in a sparkling clean house the impression is that sellers have taken really good care of the property. So, if you are planning to sell it will be good to give your refrigerator a really deep cleaning before your showings start.
Throw away anything that’s expired, gross, old or broken and wipe everything down only keeping the foods that you will actually eat.
Sometimes random things get put up high so a baby can’t reach them and get forgotten on the top of the refrigerator along with water pitchers and serving dishes. Tall buyers may notice those things and think the kitchen cupboards don’t have enough storage space. It’s worth a few minutes to take everything down and get rid anything you don’t need. Pack up whatever you don’t use frequently but absolutely need to keep and put things you use often away in a cupboard.
When selling a house, the fewer things on your refrigerator the better the photos will look. Lots of mismatched magnets make a kitchen look cluttered. Take a good look at your magnets – get rid of any you don’t care about and pack up the ones that bring you joy. Imagine how happy you will be to see them after you get moved!
